To me, he was Uncle Joe. To others he was big brother, dad, husband, friend, and even Santa Claus. On December 23, 2020 Joe passed, one day before his 73rd birthday. All of us have our favorite memories of Joe from sledding as kids, to his love of baseball. I will always remember seeing him in the church choir loft every Sunday morning, joyously singing all the hymns and his years of playing Santa at Winter Fest.
Joe was a family man through and through. As the oldest of 8 he took pride in being the big brother who always looked out for his younger sisters. As a husband and father he was loving and devoted. I remember babysitting on Saturday nights while he and Harriet had bowling date nights. Then he became a granddad. There was no prouder pop pop than him. No matter how big the family got, he had enough love to go around.
We have set up this fund to give back to the man who gave so much to all of us. Your donations to this fund will be used to help purchase a grave marker for Joe’s burial site in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. We’ll have the fund raise open for the next 30 days. Every little bit helps! Thank you for your help and support.
