The world has lost a beautiful person. Manisha Patil was beloved by everyone who knew her. Her smile could light up a room, her energy was infectious, and she always stayed positive no matter what life threw at her. 

Manisha was involved with several diverse groups,  many of them centered around the kid's activities. One of her favorite pastimes and passion was to spend time walking in local parks.  A few of her friends are raising money to dedicate a park bench in Foster City in her name. A calm, beautiful, serene place where her kids, family, and friends can gather and remember Manisha. We are working with the Foster City Parks Department on the details, and all money raised through this fundraiser will go towards a dedicated park bench ( https://www.fostercity.org/sites/default/files/fileattachments/parks_and_recreation/page/6441/foster-city-memorial-policy.pdf). 

We have the support of the family in this endeavor.  Friends will be grateful for any contribution, large or small, towards this project. The overall cost is ~$3,700 (including GofundMe charges). 

If we raise more than we need, we will donate the remainder to Brain Aneurysm Foundation(https://bafound.org), an organization that focuses on brain aneurysm awareness, education, support, advocacy, and research funding.
