Memorial of Mike Tomlinson

On September 12, 2021 we lost a special husband, son, brother, dad and friend to cancer exacerbated by complications of COVID and pneumonia. Late 2020 Mike was diagnosed with cancer and battled over the last year a hard fight which took him from us on September 12.

Mike was age 47 and passed away in his home with family by his side in Cottonwood, CA. Mike was born on March 25, 1974, in San Jose, CA. Mike moved to Redding, CA in 1976 where he grew up attending Shasta High School, Shasta College and eventually going into the Navy. Mike is survived by his wife Solange , and four son's Cody, Ethan, Noah and Jared as well as a granddaughter Maggy May.

Mike's family is requesting in lieu of flowers please donate to this memorial fundraiser where funds will be used for the cost of funeral and memorial expenses as well as a donation made to cancer research.

A viewing will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Anderson, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at the Cottonwood Assembly of God Church, 20404 Gas Point Road, in Cottonwood, on Saturday, September 18, at 3:00 pm. A reception will follow.
