Memorial & Medical Expenses for Bobby Carlson
Donation protected
Bobby was full of life. Fishing, golfing, building, and endless tinkering.
On Tuesday, June 6th, 2023 after a series of years long debilitating illnesses, the last of which left him on a ventilator for 11 days in California with mom and dad by his side, he left this world for a massive heavenly upgrade.
We are heartbroken.
Hi! My name is Donna Jo, I am the eldest sister of Bobby Carlson. Along with my siblings, Dan and Breana, we are arranging this fundraiser for our parents, Bob and Debbi Carlson.
Caring for Bobby while navigating mom’s complicated blood disorder the last 5 years has taken a toll emotionally and financially.
8 months ago, the financial burden reached a point where Dad had to come out of retirement (at 75 years old) and work out of state to cover Bobby’s mounting medical expenses.
Many of you have asked, “what can we do?”
Two things:
1. Pray for peace for mom and dad at the loss of a second son.
2. Give to ease the financial burden of Bobby’s final expenses and the cost associated with his long term care.
Ultimately it was a tooth infection that was ignored and not treated by multiple health care providers in a compromised diabetic patient that took Bobby’s life. His infection spread from tooth to lungs to blood. He died while fighting valiantly with the most faithful mom and dad crying out to God and advocating for him by his side.
We would like to thank Dr. Lee and the team that surrounded Bobby and fought for him in his final days. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for the way you did all you could to save our brother. You, sir, are an uncommon man. Thank you.
Thank you in advance to our friends and family who pray and give to support our mom and dad. They are worthy.
With Love and Gratitude,
DJ, Dan and Bre
