Memorial Jose Velazquez

José Velázquez passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 23, 2020 due to Covid complications.  He was 54 years old. José was a beloved plantsman and worked at Beaver Creek Nursery/Song Sparrow Farm for 30-plus years as Field Manager/Propagator. José was known not only for his amazing knowledge of plants, but for his friendliness and willingness to help others in need.  He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and coworkers. He is survived by his wife Carmen and son Adrian (Ruby) and daughter Xochitl.  All contributions  will directly help the family's expenses.
