Memorial Headstone Marker for two Angel's
Donation protected
My Grand mother passed away 22 years ago and my cousin Iesha (28 yrs old) 5 years later. Both are buried side by side in a family plot in south carolina without a headstone. The temporary name plates are disintegrating. Given their current state, it won't be long before their unrecognizable and the graves unrecognizable. The purpose of this fundraiser is to provide a headstone/permanent Grave marker for both. I raised half through family however fell short of the remaining amount of $1660.
It is my belief if you knew how special these two ladies were, you'd see fit to help me achieve my fundraising goal. With this fundraiser I will purchase and have installed a double headstone equipped with flower holders.
I'm extremely grateful for your donations and I know you'd be proud to know these two women were kind, compassionate, caring women who sacrificed their lives unselfishly to aide and care for others. They were everyday sheroes, doing good deeds for others in service for christ. Indeed worthy of any Nobel prize or citizens award. Their humbleness and gracious attitude never sought recognition for the compassion and care they provided was from the heart.
My Grandmother lived until she was 65 years old. Raised six children of her own. Grandma Wright helped anyone in the neighborhood that needed it. Literally, her door was always opened. She adopted my deaf cousin and raised him as her own. Ensured he had everything he needed to succeed at a normal life. She also raised since birth, later adopting her six Grandchildren, who were abandoned by their mother who suffered with a drug addiction. Grandma Wright put others needs before her own. She was a sister in the church and a pillar of her community. When Grandma past on her responsibility for the children in her care passed on to Iesha. (Eldest Sibling).
Without hesitation my cousin Iesha embraced the task. Determined to keep all her Siblings together. She became legal guardian of all of them and even got them all Baptisted. Including her siblings and 2 boys of her own she would maintain a household for eight by herself. Doing this all while her Body was under attack by this disease called Lupus. Diagnosed as a teenager she fought the good fight. Losing her finger and often in enormous amounts of pain. She succumb to Lupus at the age of 28, after taking care of her siblings alone for another five years. They were practically grown at that time but her children sadly were only the tender age of 7 and 11 at the time of her passing. Iesha's death cut deep for many of us, as she was the youngest relative in our generation to have passed prematurely.
In summary, I would like you to know both of these women lived life to the fullest. Never asking why or saying "no" when so much was demanded of them. Just unselfish and generous in their love. They never put themselves before what Gods purpose meant for them to achieve. I hope this story will captivate you not only to be charitable in their names sake but also to accept your purpose unselfishly and loving. My Gratitude to you for your donation in advance because it will allow me to honor my them in a manner in which they are so deserving. God Bless you!
