Memorial Headstone for Dave and Crystal Crozier

This GoFundMe is to purchase a headstone to mark the final resting place of Dave and Crystal Crozier (née Presnell) at the Moscow Cemetery in Moscow, Idaho. The Crozier and Presnell families are sponsoring this fundraiser. We are heartbroken at the loss of Dave and Crystal who had departed from us far too soon, and we would appreciate your contribution to help us fund this memorial.

Though the primary goal of the fundraiser is to purchase and install the headstone, any amount raised that exceeds the goal will be set aside for the needs of Zoey, Dave and Crystal’s eight-year-old daughter.

Headstone Details:

The headstone will be a shared memorial stone with their names, dates of births and deaths, and the date they were married. The engraving will include wheat shafts to represent their connections to the Palouse region and Crystal’s youth growing up on the family farm near Colfax, Washington. There will also be a Hawaiian hibiscus flower to represent Dave’s birthplace. And a Hawaiian phrase Ohana Mau Loa which translates to “family is forever.” The stone itself will be an emerald green color.

We are hoping that the headstone can be made and installed by the end of the year, but winter weather may push it to next spring.

The total estimated cost of making and installing the headstone is $2,000 to be produced by Garlinghouse Memorials. We are setting the goal at $2,100 to cover donation transaction fees.

About Dave and Crystal:

Dave and Crystal Crozier were the proud and loving parents of their only child, Zoey. They were longtime residents of Moscow, Idaho and avid supporters of the University of Idaho Vandals. They attended services at St. Augustine’s Church in Moscow.

Dave and Crystal met through a mutual friend in 2012 and were married in 2017. They both enjoyed sports and were season ticket holders for Vandals games.

Dave passed away on April 14, 2021. Crystal passed away July 9, 2022. They share a plot at the Moscow Cemetery in Moscow, Idaho. Crystal didn’t have the opportunity to get a headstone for Dave before she passed away.
