Hello to our Beloved Family and Friends,
As you all know by now, our beautiful mama passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021. Mom had been in the hospital for three and a half months, battling against pressure sores, sepsis, peripheral arterial disease, end stage renal failure, and congestive heart failure. And, although she had a myriad of health issues, her death was unexpected as she was recovering from her issues. Mom moved forward through all her challenges with a loving and playful heart, and her warm and sometimes mischievous smile. Mom was set to be discharged to come home the very day her heart went into ventricular defibrillation at the hospital. She passed the very next evening. We were not able to give her her final wish of coming home to be surrounded by her family and loved ones; however, we wish to honor her and celebrate her life with all of those that she loved and whom she loved in return. Mom was fun and sassy, kind and compassionate, and completely unselfish and generous with her time, efforts, and heart. In this time of grief, we humbly ask for donation, however big or small, in order to give her the final services she deserves. We would like to bring together, her family and friends, to share our memories and support one another in our time of loss. She is survived by my father/her devoted husband, Adan Cardenas, her five children: Veronica, Sandra Marie, Adriana, Ruth, and Adam Jonathan. Her grandchildren: Breanna and Matthew. Her siblings: David, Manuel, Christina, Henry, and Ramiro, and many nieces and nephews. She loved each and everyone of you. The services and funeral will be held at Forest Lawn Cypress on the following days:
- Tuesday, 1/18/22, 10am-2pm for viewing, The Hopes chapel
- Wednesday 1/19/22, 2pm for funeral, The Patriots Chapel, and then the burial shortly after
- Thank you for your time, and we hope to see you at one of the services.
