Hello,

My name is Ledaliz niece of Betsy and Alberto Matos. On behalf of Betsy and Xavier, myself and other family members are setting up this Go Fund Me account for Betsy and Xavier, who lost their King unexpectedly. Albert passed away yesterday evening, 03/01/2024 at The Matos Residence. If you know Betsy and her health story, then you know she has been battling cancer. She faces her own struggles with her health daily and Albert was literally her everything, her rock, her comfort, her support. As you can only begin to imagine, Betsy and Xavier have a lot going on.

The family is shocked by this loss and unfortunately not prepared for all that is happening at this time. Losing a loved one is always difficult, but coping with a sudden loss of a husband/father adds a different element to the grieving process. There are also added financial stressors, such as the cost of planning a funeral or the loss of a spouse’s income to pay for household expenses.

We'd like to show our support to Betsy, Xavier, and family during this difficult time by helping them cover unexpected costs due to this sudden tragedy. Anything you can do to help them during this time of heartbreak is greatly appreciated. We ask for your prayers for our family we know that God is with us and that he is in control.
