Hello all,

It is with the deepest sadness that we share the passing of our beloved sister, cousin, aunt, and great-aunt, Christina Avila (Tia B). Christina passed away on June 23rd, at 6:49 PM PST, with her hand held by her loving nieces, Laura & Lydia. Those who knew Christina knew she radiated joy that was so healing and would do anything to bring a smile to the faces of those she cared for.

Christina lived a life worth celebrating and remembering. She brought humor and levity to every situation and would be the first to crack a joke about something serious. She was a loving woman who would give everything to ensure everyone was able to enjoy their time with her, and as we lay her to rest we ask that you help reciprocate that love and support, in making this time lighter for Christina's family and friends.

Christina's family and friends who are responsible for laying her to rest, are in need of support in planning and paying for her funeral/memorial arrangements. Due to difficulties with finances, no set funeral arrangements have been made; however, the family will try to provide a memorial and private burial all to be held near her home in Gardena, CA.

We are currently trying to alleviate as much stress from the family as possible, and this includes raising funds for her memorial expenses. We would appreciate it if you could donate whatever you can, and/or share this post to help the family through their time of grief and celebrate the life of Christina Avila/Tia B.
