Memorial funds for Vicki Covey White
Donation protected
When: Saturday, February 23rd 2019 (Viewing from 1pm-2pm, Service from 2pm-3pm)
Where: Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main Street, Paris, KY 40361
On February 16th, 2019 my mother, Vicki Covey White, passed away after a hard two-year battle with lung cancer. While starting treatment, she was deemed unable to work and thus, could not support herself. My sister and I moved in with her permanently to take care of her until her passing.
Unfortunately, she did not have any funds set aside to help her family with financing her services. Her passing came so suddenly that there was not much time to work on service details. As her son, I've been doing my best to manage financing this as well as other aspects of her service and assets although we could use help. She had no life insurance policy and no retirement funds as that is what she used to live while being unable to work.
We have already received help from some family members, for which we are eternally grateful for, and we wanted to extend the opportunity to help us out to family and friends who would like to help. I am creating this fundraiser in an attempt to account for the funds that remain in order to fulfill her wishes in regards to her funeral service. She requested a humble service, with a viewing for friends and family. I want to do what I can to make this happen for her as my final gift to her. All funds raised by this will be used in funding her service and cremation.
Any help that can be provided is very much appreciated but if you cannot, I completely understand and appreciate that you took time to visit this page out of concern for her and her family. The amount of love and concern that we have received has been overwhelming and so good. Thank you.
I love you Mom.
