Steven was the most genuine, positive, optimistic, philosophically-minded human being and most importantly, he was my BROTHER. He was also a beloved son, cousin, nephew, friend, and boyfriend. He touched the hearts of so many people. He had such a beautiful, kind soul. He unearthed the positive gifts life can bring us even during the most difficult and unexpected trials life puts before us. Even though his life on this earth tragically ended, he continues to teach us some of life’s most important lessons. We, those of us who were blessed to have occupied the same spaces he filled are each witness of his life, his dreams, his innovation, and his true love. He lives on within each one who was fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him; for we are witnesses of who he was and who he IS.
