Memorial Funds for Gerardo Felix Silva

Hi my name is Karol Hernandez and I am Gerardo’s niece. On the first week of January 2023, we were all notified that my uncle Gerardo was no longer with us. Unfortunately, we are still unaware of the cause of his death but it was all sudden for everyone. As you all know my uncle was a very special person and had so much love to give to everyone that was part of his life. He was very wise and always had a smile on his face, most of us can say he was the fun of every party or gathering. He had much love for flowers and plants, his art work that he had collected over the years, his books in which he always shared the knowledge he had gain from reading each one of them, and was very passionate about education. Gerardo was a very motivated and passionate educator in which influenced many young generations as myself, my sister, my cousins, and especially his students. Although we each may have different memories or relationships with my uncle we all know how special he was and how much we are missing his hugs, his smile, his laughter, his funny remarks, and especially his presence. It is our duty to share his memories with others because he still lives in us all.

In this time of sadness, we will greatly appreciate any donation/s given to the Felix family for the memorial services of Gerardo. As my uncle brought happiness in our lives, we want to bring happiness on his day of celebration of life.

I want to thank everyone for taking the time on sharing and supporting the celebration of Gerardo’s life. Also, thank you everyone for your kind words and gestures to The Felix Family.

We love you Gerardo, Gera, Mr. Felix, Tío Lalo, brother, son, cousin, and dear friend. May you rest in peace by your mother’s side.
