Memorial funds for Eric Anthony Morgan

Hi, my name is Desiree, I am the daughter of Eric and Debby Morgan. My siblings, Cassandra, Austin and I discussed setting up this Go Fund Me in memory of my late father who sadly passed away this past Sunday, October 2, 2022. All who knew our parents knew our Dad battled lifelong illness a long, long time. Our Mom was always there for him through thick and thin. They loved, they fought, they grew up together and never, ever gave up on each other. That was true commitment. Our Mom is now left alone after losing her life long partner, her husband, her best friend of 42 years. Now trying to figure out how to afford financially the funeral arrangements for my Dad on her own. His wishes were to be cremated and buried with a headstone so that friends and family can visit him. The cost of a burial, even while being cremated is still costly. Along with the memorial. She is having to spend the majority, if not all of her savings on these things and will be left with next to nothing, while also losing my Dad's monthly financial help as well. With my Dad's lifelong illnesses he was unable to qualify for life insurance because he was high risk. We are hoping to raise at least enough to cover the funeral, burial and memorial to lessen this untimely burdenon our Mom so she can grieve properly without the worry of how to make ends meet. Our parents raised my 2 siblings and I together and have 8 grandchildren. My dad's last wishes were to get to see my kids, as I live in Western Washington now and he hasn't gotten to see them as much as he would have liked in the past 3 years. He was able to make it, along with another grandchild and spent the weekend before his death getting to spend quality time with 5 of his grandchildren. He really cared about all of his family and friends even if he was the grouchy old man in his last years due to his health and just not feeling well. We're sure that he wished he could have gotten to spend more time with his friends and family in his last years, but just physically couldn't due to his health declining so rapidly. We thank you for any help, even the smallest donations will go a long way. We appreciate each and everyone of you during this difficult time for our family.
