We are trying to raise at least $2500 to cover the cost of the cremation and memorial for Jim's son to give his father.

Those who knew "Crabby Jim" loved and cared about him because he was a generous and compassionate man, who cares about everyone he knew and would even give the shirt off of his own back to someone he didn't know, if he knew that it would help them.

Jim loved life and enjoyed his job selling Virginia Blue Crabs to the wonderful people in Portsmouth Virginia.

He is survived by his son Ryan, his brother West, his niece Ruby, his nephew Chuck and his Uncle Billy. Because of Jim's untimely and unexpected passing, his family members really want to honor him and give him the respect of a cremation, a celebration of life memorial and any other expenses that may occur.

Please let's all come together in this heartbreaking time and help support the family of the man who has, in one way or another, supported us.

Rest in Peace James William Butler, we love you and you will be missed by all who knew you.
