From the family of Giselle and Kyle Prosper and Juliana Falcon, who tragically lost their lives in 2024.

Since this tragedy, our family, friends and wider community have come together many times to remember and honour Juliana, Kyle and Giselle.

Throughout this incredibly difficult journey, we have found great comfort in seeing how deeply loved they were and in experiencing the kindness, compassion and support of so many people around us.

This tragedy has affected so many people, everyone who knew and loved them. Coming together as a community and supporting one another through grief has been an incredibly important part of our healing. Without the kindness and support we have received from those around us, we would be in a very different place today.

“People carried us on their backs through grief.” We are so very grateful.

It has now been over two years since we lost them, and we have still not been able to send Juliana, Kyle and Giselle on their final journey home to Argentina.

Juliana was incredibly proud of her Argentinian heritage and always spoke about her home and family with great love.

Juliana, Kyle and Giselle were cremated, and some of their ashes were scattered in a place in England that holds precious memories for us. We kept a portion of their ashes with the hope that, one day, Juliana could return home with her children.

We are now fundraising to help Juliana’s family travel from Argentina to collect their ashes and take them home for their final journey.

Juliana’s family have been unable to come to England since the tragedy. Being able to visit the place where some of their ashes were scattered, as well as the memorial bench and the trees that our community has lovingly put in place to honour them, would mean so much to them and would give them a sense of closure.

The tragedy has affected us physically, emotionally and financially. We simply do not have the financial means to make this possible ourselves, which is why we are reaching out to our community for help.

We are also fundraising for another very special purpose.

This June, we remembered what would have been Juliana’s 50th birthday and Kyle’s 18th birthday, surrounded by family and many of their friends.

Later this year, Giselle would have turned 16.

Giselle was elegant, sweet and humble. She loved beautiful dresses, dancing, pink, sparkle and everything girly.

To honour Giselle, we would like to raise money to support All Dressed Up, a wonderful charity that provides prom dresses to girls from families experiencing financial difficulties who may otherwise be unable to afford one.

Supporting girls around Giselle’s age and giving them something that reflects the things she loved feels like a very special way to keep her memory alive and celebrate the beautiful person she was.
