Dear All,
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Mami-San, our manager on Monday morning.
Mami-San had suffered massive stroke on
March, 26th and never gained consciousness.
Mami-San was a loving and generous person. She was an Illinois registered organ donor.
She is survived by her only daughter Angela, 2 grandchildren and her beloved cat. She was a passionate and dedicated worker for the past 20 years as a manager with Benihana. She was well respected by her peers and the people she had worked with.
In consideration of her financial situation, we beseech you kindly donate money to her family in this most difficult time. The fund will be used for her memorial service and the medical bill.
She will forever missed.

I'm Angela, Mami Flood's daughter.
My mother has passed away unexpectedly on 4/10/2023 due to ruptured brain aneurysm that occurred on 3/26/2023.
I am still trying to process her passing, and it may take a while for this reality to set in.
I want to thank each one of you that contributed. It means a ton for me and my children. My mom was tough, strong, and very caring woman. One of the strongest person I've ever met. She worked so hard to provide for me when I was a child, and we continued to support each other until the very end.
I will miss her very much, but now it is time for her to rest. I hope she's up there somewhere knitting while watching Japanese TV, being surrounded by her cats.
