Memorial Fundraiser for Marc Lesnick ("Mona")
Donation protected
Our dear friend Marc Lesnick ("Mona") passed away unexpectedly this week. He was living in Los Angeles, where he had moved two years ago for a new lease on life. Mona was a legend -- hilarious, kind, loyal, with a mind like a steel trap. From his many years at Camp Tanuga and beyond, he was a friend to all. Mona connected people. And now we'd like to help.
We're raising money to help his family cover a funeral and the associated costs. If Mona was a part of your life in any way, from summers at camp to sharing an obsession with the Grateful Dead (and so much more music), please consider a donation. Any contribution is appreciated. Adam Surnow, a close friend of Mona's, will be working with Mama Mona to deliver the funds that will cover the cost of the burial, etc. Any funds leftover will be donated to yet-to-be-named charity in Mona's name.
Additionally, below is a link to participate to in a memorial video montage for Mona. If you have a few words about the joy or hilarity Mona brought to your life, please feel free to record a message and upload it. It will be circulated to his family and friends:

Going to leave this broke-down palace
On my hands and my knees I will roll, roll, roll
Make myself a bed by the waterside
In my time, in my time, I will roll, roll, roll"
Thanks. And RIP Mona.
