Support for Jose Gonzalez and his family

Donation protected

Jose Gonzalez was the greatest friend, brother and son a person can ask for. He was kind and generous, the type of individual that would give up his time for any friend that asked. He was caring and thoughtful, the type of person that would look after you if times were tough. He was also passionate and indomitable, the type of man who could work long hours just to provide for his family. He was all of this, yet no number of words could describe what he meant to all of us.

On January 7, 2021, this beautiful soul was lost to the world through suicide, an act that shook his family and close loved ones, its effects reverberating across all those that he influenced. He was only 23 when he died.

Jose aspired of becoming a U.S. Army officer, and he pursued this dream when he joined ROTC. As a cadet he mentored other students and trained with the best of his ability. He was eager to serve his country and even more dedicated to help others.

Jose was also a talented musician, his passion for playing instruments and creating music reflected his creative personality. He loved to practice and play with his band, even performing at multiple events.

He lived with his little brother and mother whom he loved very dearly. So in order to help his family, persevere through this tragic loss, this fundraiser will be used to help finance any services that his family might need, and to provide any little comfort that could be given.

Although the previous year was tough for the world due to COVID-19 and other terrible events, we wish to provide anything to help Jose and his family, and to help remind them that the world can still show kindness despite these trying times.

Any funds that are not used for funeral and memorial services will be left with Jose’s family to help mitigate any financial burdens that this loss has caused. By donating and helping spread this to others we also hope that we can also raise awareness about suicide and hopefully preventing any more of these types of incidents from happening to anyone.

We love you Jose and we will miss you very much.
