As some of you may have heard, Dr. Harrison's love of 30 years, Reg, passed away on Tuesday. Reg was extremely influential to many current and former students and contributed to our education in various ways. If you have taken classes with Dr. Harrison at any point, I am sure you have heard some of the many stories she has shared about Reg during her tenure as a professor at both NAU and formally Argosy. Some of you may have even had the pleasure of learning from Reg in person during some of your courses with Dr. Harrison.

It is deeply heartbreaking to have lost such an amazing person. Currently, there are a few students working together to purchase a custom memorial bench, like the one you see pictured above. The intention is to honor Reg, on behalf of our student body, for all that he has contributed to hundreds of us students over the years. We are kindly asking for donations to purchase this in his memory.

The bench will be placed at Horses Help, where Reg has served countless students, clients, and mental health professionals as an equine specialist. Any additional funds will be used to purchase a potted cactus that will continue to grow, as a way to represent how both Reg and Dr. Harrison have fostered growth in so many of us.

Any remaining funds will then be donated to Horses Help, as this is where Reg specifically requested any donations in his name go.
