Memorial Fund, in loving Memory, Melissa Alleyne

Dear Family and Friends,

On Tuesday, September 27th, my best friend, my twin, my Mother, Melissa Alleyne, suffered a sudden massive stroke in front of me, while I was at home taking care of her.

As most of you know, my Mother was fighting a battle with Bladder Cancer this past year. She was undergoing her third round of Chemotherapy and facing organ removal if the chemo did not work.

My family and I had faith she would overcome this, but sadly she succumbed to brain injuries as a result of the stroke and passed away yesterday, Friday September 30th, at 11:35 AM.

My beautiful Mother was a warrior, fighter and survivor. We never expected this.

She was a beloved Mother to my siblings and I. She was a Sister, Daughter, Cousin, Niece, and most importantly, the best Grandmother in the world.

She was everything to all of us. We are heartbroken.

Our Mother was a joyous nurturing spirit. She was the foundation and glue of our family. My siblings and I are in disbelief and pain. No one is ever ready or can prepare you for this, and we want to honor her memory and legacy the best we can.

We are asking for anyone and everyone who would like to honor her with us, to help us send her home with a proper Memorial service and celebration of her life.

Donations will go directly to the cost of her Funeral Services and transporting her back to be laid to rest close to her Mother in Florida.

My siblings and I thank you for any support you can provide in helping us send our beloved Mother home in the most ceremonious way possible.
