The beloved Shadi Haddad passed away unexpectedly on May 31st, 2019. Shadi was a devoted husband to Meghan Haddad and father to 10-month old Chloe Haddad. He was an integral member of the Cytology Service at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer, and the heart and soul of our department. In the days since his departure, we as a professional family have been searching for a means to honor Shadi's legacy...
Shadi was a selfless, jovial person who would sacrifice all that he could in order to support those around him. We would like to channel that selflessness and love for Shadi by collecting donations to support a Memorial/College Fund for his daughter Chloe, in honor of her beloved father. Our hearts are broken knowing that she did not have nearly enough time to receive Shadi's unconditional love, support and bask in the numerous qualities that defined him as an exemplary human being. All funds collected from this campaign will be directed to his loving wife, Meghan Haddad. We thank all who are able share kind words about Shadi, and/or are able to donate to this cause.
