This fundraiser has been created by the cousins of William Johnson.
It is with great sadness and heartbreak that we write this to say Bill unexpectedly passed on Friday April 2nd at the age of 48. He went home to be with the lord and his eldest daughter Julia.
Bill was the life of the party, always cracking jokes, making everyone laugh and just being goofy. He was a lover and he loved hard. He was passionate about the Raiders and the Lakers and LOVED spending time with his family. Whether we were having a bbq, playing basketball or just hanging out at a family gathering he was always smiling and had so much love to give to the ones he loved.
Bill is survived by his Mother Wanda (79), 3 children, Anthony (25), Michael (22), Vanessa (19), his sister Charlene, nephew’s, nieces, Aunts, Uncles and many cousins who are deeply saddened by his passing. Bill lived with his youngest Son, Michael, his Mom, Wanda and his pit bull, Diesel.
Bill provided full time care for his Mom in all aspects of life: paying bills, grocery shopping, frequent doctors appointments, giving her her daily meds and everything in between. There was no life insurance or savings in place and with the loss of his portion of income the family is left scrambling to get funds together for his final arrangements and trying to make ends meet. All donations will go directly to Wanda and Michael as they handle the arrangements. Due to the circumstances it is likely they will need to move to find something more affordable and we are hoping to receive enough donations to help get them back on their feet.
On behalf of Wanda and the entire family, we understand times are hard for everyone but we appreciate any donations, shares of this post and your heart felt prayers as we navigate through this difficult time. God Bless.
And to our beloved Bill, you were a bright light in our family who always brought laughter and smiles to our faces. You will be deeply missed and we will forever cherish all of our special and often times hilarious memories with you over the years. We love you.
