Memorial Fund for William Dale Ryan's Family

My name is Kaylor Hogue, and I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my Uncle Willy's family during this tragic time.

On the evening of July 11, 2024, my uncle, age 44, was struck by a truck while riding his motorcycle home from work. As we mourn this unimaginable loss, we are reminded of how fragile life is and how quickly our loved ones can be torn from our lives. Yet, we feel deeply grateful for the many joyful memories we shared with William Dale Ryan.

Some people enter your life, and you immediately know, "this person is special." My uncle was one of those people. Despite any challenges he faced, he was always the happiest and funniest person you could meet. He truly was a light in so many of our lives. You could always count on him for a joke, a huge smile, and to make you feel loved, no matter what was going on in his personal life. His infectious laugh will be missed dearly.

My uncle is survived by five beautiful children, the youngest being Irelynn, age 4. He is missed dearly by his mother and best friend, Dawna, his sister, brother, girlfriend, nieces and nephews, uncles, and dear friends. He touched the lives of so many, and now each of us feels an immense loss. You never think a loved one will be taken before their time, but when it happens, the pain is incomprehensible and inevitably, there are many regrets that come along with it.

During this already trying time, we are asking for help to honor my uncle with a memorial service that suits the kind, loving, funny man he was. We are astonished at the cost of his funeral arrangements and are asking for anything you can give— as little as $5 will make a difference. Anything that exceeds the cost of the service will be set aside to help support his young children.
