We are raising funds for the memorial of Wanda Slack.

Wanda Fay Slack, 70, of Madison Heights, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the UVA Medical Center.

A devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, who we will miss dearly.

Wanda dedicated over 30 years of her life to healthcare, caring for others with compassion and grace. Her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her profession, as she continued to care for family and friends in any way she could. She found joy in shopping, especially for her loved ones. A thoughtful gift-giver, she was known for preparing Christmas presents throughout the year. Wanda also had a special place in her heart for animals.

She was a faithful member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, where she found spiritual comfort and community.

The family is seeking assistance with raising funds for Wanda's memorial cost.

As well, Wanda requested a donation to be given to the Ebenezer Baptist Church building fund.

Donations of any size will be greatly appreciated by the family and loved ones of Wanda Slack.
