On Saturday, our loving mother passed away peacefully in her sleep after a 6 year battle with cancer. She fought hard with much grace and positivity, especially over these last 3 years. Every day with her has been a blessing and we are forever grateful for the time we've had to wrap her up in love.
At this time, we ask for continued love, prayer and support during the most difficult time of our lives. While the peace comes in waves, for her suffering is over, our hearts are broken.
Many of you have donated money, meals and more throughout this journey. THANK YOU. We could never thank you enough. Our gratitude knows no bounds.
As some know, my parents both had to quit working to battle this disease. While cancer affects the patient, it's impact spreads into many other aspects of life. My sister and I would like to help ease the financial burdens of the funeral costs and help Dad and Jason to have some breathing room in the coming weeks/months.
If you feel it placed on your heart, any amount (or share via social media) would help as we focus on rebuilding a life for my dad and brother.
Funeral arrangements are pending and we will try to keep you updated as quickly as possible for those who would like to come celebrate the life of my mother, Leila Gould Saylors. It is tentatively set for Friday, July 20th in Asheville, NC.
