It is with a heavy heart that we report on the passing of my nephew, Teman Kweli. Teman, who was 11 years old, died in a tragic accident, Thursday December 17, 2020. He is survived by his parents, his sister Tamera (8 years old), and his brother Tremaine (who turned two on 12/18/20).
Teman was the kind of person that if you met him, you loved him. He was an awesome big brother, he loved to sing and dance, he was fearless, playful, compassionate (he was known to come up to you and say "are you ok?"), loving, and a happy child.
We are asking for your support to lay my nephew to rest, and make sure his family has a place to stay, and are supported in other ways (transportation, food, etc.). We are appreciative of any help that you can offer in our time of need.
