Memorial Fund for Suzette's mom, Lorine

Just over 12 months ago Suzette was able to fulfill the dream of having her dear mother, Lorine Wilson move to California from Jamaica. It took several years of red tape and thousands of dollars, but these two strong women never gave up. Even after 20 plus years of living 2500 miles apart, their mother daughter bond was strong and they couldn't have been happier to be reunited!
A few months after her arrival, Lorine was diagnosed with cancer. She and Suzette battled this challenge head on with incredible bravery and a positive spirit. They found a way to laugh thru the chemo treatments in spite of the pain. Every day they each found reasons to be thankful and were simply happy to be together!
Despite all of their determination, the cancer was unstoppable. On January 13th Lorine went to be with the Lord and while Suzette remains thankful for their time together she is utterly broken hearted.
One of Lorine's requests was for a simple burial, which Suzette is desperate to accommodate. Getting Lorine here to the US and then paying for her medical bills has left Suzette short of the funds necessary to fulfil this wish.
We're asking for donations for this memorial so that Suzette can bury her sweet mom with grace, and so that we can join her in celebrating her dear mother's life here on earth.
