Hi, My name is Saniya Sapkal and I'm doing a memorial fundraiser for my mom Sheetal Sapkal.

Sheetal paased away on July 21st, 2022 after battling through complications of stroke and blood clotting disorder for last 3 months. My mom was only 47 years old and was perfectly helthy lady with no medical probelms until she was hit with first stroke on April 21st. She then fought hard in ICU, hospitals and rehab hospital and then came home for continuing her therapy. She was barely home for 1 week and then blood clotting and blood thinner complications developed which caused her multiple bleed in brain and swelling. She passed away peacefully while we were holding her hands and chanting Omkar. It was an ultimate culmination of her life and start of journey of her soul towards moksha.

My mom was very friendly, loving and caring person who gathered multiple friends. She was enthusiastic hiker and avid gardner who spent hours taking care of her plants. She was actively involved in various community and volunteer oraganizations. She always belived in and supported cause for promoting education, STEM and robotics, eliminating hunger and poverty, and support the green environment. I would like to use entire raised funds in supporting the causes she belived in by supporting the non-profit oraganizations working towards same cause.
