Memorial Fund for Sean Barger

Friends, we are raising funds to secure a final resting place for our beloved friend, Sean Barger who tragically lost his battle with cancer last February.  Los Angeles’ own Dandy of the Underworld, Sean was a lover of the arts, especially live music and beautifully strange settings, so we could not think of a better place for him than at the gorgeous cemetery in the heart of Los Angeles, Hollywood Forever.

We have a single niche on hold for Sean along the “Rock n Roll strip” of the cemetery near Johnny Ramone, Chris Cornell, Toto, Doug Fairbanks & Doug Fairbanks Jr., and many more. Our goal is to raise $16K which will cover the costs of securing the location of his niche, the service to install his cremains, the shutter with his images and name (along with a few other surprises), and related costs.

We hope to raise the funds by the end of October (the month of his birthday), but will keep this fundraiser going for as long as needed to reach our goal.

Any money raised over our goal will be designated for a mural of Sean to be commissioned, its Los Angeles location to be determined upon completion of this campaign. The artist we would like to commission for the mural is the very talented painter Radhika Hersey in collaboration with Auriana Borealis.
