Memorial Fund for Ryan McGinnis

Update: This fundraiser has now reached many friends and loved ones of the McGinnis family outside of the Calabash community, which is wonderful. Tara and Ryan's family are so touched by the unified show of support. With the family's blessing, we will keep this fundraiser growing on behalf of anyone who would like to join in the support. One of our own Calabash families is facing a terrible and tragic loss. Ryan McGinnis, father to 3rd grader Fiona, passed away yesterday due to complications from long-term kidney issues. His passing was sudden and unexpected, leaving the family to face immense financial burdens in addition to dealing with this unimaginable loss. Ryan leaves behind his wife Tara, and their 9-year-old daughter Fiona. As a Calabash community, we hope to be able to provide some relief of their financial load related to his medical and funeral expenses. Additionally, we hope to help ease some of the financial hurdles they will face as they navigate through the weeks and months ahead.
