Memorial Fund for Rusbel Ramirez

*****UPDATE 10/25/2020****** With everyone’s wonderful kindness and generosity, we have raised over $15,000 for Rusbel’s Parents, Maria and Rusbel Sr. These funds will be used to be pay off funeral/memorial expenses (funeral home costs, flowers, etc), and anything left over his go to his parents to cover any unanticipated expenses. The plan is to close the gofundme in ~24-48 hrs. Most likely close by Tuesday 10/27/2020 at midnight. For gofundme’s requirement of transparency and clarity of donations, I will be withdrawing the total funds and will be delivery a certified cashier’s check to his parents, Maria and Rusbel Ramirez Sr later this week or early next week, as soon as funds are withdrawn and available. I have personally discussed these plans with his parents. This GoFundMe is to raise money to pay for funeral and memorial services for Rusbel Isaac Ramirez. Rusbel passed away too soon on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at the age of 34 soon after being diagnosed with COVID-19. Just 4 days shy of his 35th birthday. This will help his mother, Maria Ramirez, and his father, Rusbel Ramirez with the funeral expenses. I met Rusbel 28 years ago in the first grade, I can still remember him making us fall off our chairs laughing on the first day of class. Rusbel touched all of our lives in his special and unique way. He brought love and his bright energy in every room he was in. His candle shined brightly and went out too early.
