Memorial fund for Ross Boyle

Donation protected
My name is Libby, I am hoping to raise funds to pay for a final resting place for my partner Ross who has sadly passed away.

Ross tragically lost his life after a motorcycle accident on the 24th May 2025, aged just 32.

Ross was a talented musician and passionate professional chef. He had an impressive collection of guitars and loved to play. He also taught himself how to cook, and was very keen in the kitchen at home. Another passion of his was gaming, and Ross got very excited whenever a new Playstation game was being released. Ross loved Star Wars and Lego, and had an extensive amount of Lego models on display in our house.

Ross lived with me and our 2 cats, and loved nothing more than cuddling on the sofa with us all in front of the TV. He is truly missed by not only myself and family, but also his colleagues who are still missing his presence in their kitchens.
Since Ross's passing, I have discovered that as a partner, since we were never married, I have no rights whatsoever, I can't claim any government grants, insurance, pension, bereavement support etc, I have no rights to anything whatsoever. Myself and our cats have also unfortunately been made homeless by the housing association our tenancy was with.

I have had to take time off work due to bereavement which has meant I have had no income since the event, and haven't yet been able to find the funds to bury Ross's ashes. I have also had very little support from Universal Credit, yet I have still had joint bills and debts to pay off with no income. I am now back at work but any pay will only cover my bills. We've both been completely and utterly failed by the system and I know this is not what Ross would've wanted to happen.

Ross's funeral was held at Birches Crematorium in Cheshire, and this is where I wish for his ashes to be buried and for him to be finally laid to rest. The costs are high, but I'm hoping with the support of others I can raise some funds to allow for a resting place to be made for Ross, so family and friends can visit him at any time to seek comfort and pay respects after the traumatic and devastating loss of such an incredible person.

The goal amount to be raised is the cost of a 20 year lease of a birch tree, and includes the costs of the burial of ashes, and the engraving of a memorial boulder with his name. I will add links below to provide more information about Ross's passing and memorial costs.

Thank you.
