Memorial Fund for Robert E. Hudgins

Sitting here trying to fill in the box for my story, I struggle to find words and even see through the tears to type. It's hard to breathe, it doesn't even feel like real life. Yesterday the world lost a beautiful soul. My daddy. The daddy to 6 girls and PawPaw to 14 grandchildren. A man who loved his country, who was a pround Marine and was a Combat Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a protector, not only of his family but to Pensacola as Deputy Sheriff. He was a devoted husband to my mom for 48 years. My heart aches for my mom. She and my dad were so in love. My dad always said that even if he had all of the kingdoms in the world, he would still be poor without her.  She was my dad's lifeline, literally. My daddy went through so much; most recently becoming an amputee and requiring continuous care. Of course my mom, the amazing woman that she is, spent every waking moment taking care of him. It's hard to imagine waking up one day and not having the love of your life next to you. My mom loved him so much and so deeply.
I'm creating this fund to help my mom pay for anthing that is needed for burial expenses as well as supplement the loss of income until she can get back on her feet. Anything helps. Thank you in advance to all who took the time to read my story.
