Memorial Fund for Peter Gage

Donation protected
Peter Gage was a father, a brother, a son, a friend, an uncle. But he was an addict who lost his battle to addiction on June 28th, 2020. He had struggled most of his life, especially after losing our mother to cancer in 2012. Peter left behind a beautiful daughter, 4 younger sisters, a brother, and many loved ones. We all are in disbelief as we had so much hope that he would turn his life around. He was scheduled to admit himself into a treatment center on June 29th, the day after he was declared dead. His chance to survive and live a worthy life was taken from him as he decided to go use one more time.

I am the oldest of all his sisters, writing on his behalf. I have been given the burden of taking care of my brothers body and service. I am proud to be the one in charge of his after life care but that comes at a cost. Not only am I grieving for my brother, I have to make the right decision for him. With that being said, we as a family believe it is best to have Peter cremated and share his ashes. We wish to split his ashes up into individual canisters amongst those closest to him, and have the rest of his ashes buried in New Hampshire alongside our mothers ashes.

My goal for the money received is to take care of all the necessary costs it will take to put Peter to rest and any remaining donations will go to his daughter. Peter passed in FL, so I wish to have him cremated him and transport his ashes to me. Then, I wish to have a memorial service here in MD where many of his family and friends reside. Then within a few months, I wish to travel to NH to have a burial service with his family and friends there. His daughter lives in FL, so I wish to have her flown out, if allowed, to be present during these services. With this being said, it will be costly for me, and even the smallest donation will help.  We appreciate and love each and every one of you who has shown respect for our lost loved one, and thank you in advance for your thoughtful donations.

Rest In Paradise - Peter, Petey, Pete, Pistol Pete - you will truly be missed.
