This memorial fund is made in honor of the life and legacy of Otilio Posadas Sr., who has suddenly and peacefully gone home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 3rd, exactly one month after his 71st birthday. He had been working in Arkansas. After saying “I love you and goodbye” to the love of his life, he read his bible and fell asleep some time after 10:00pm and without a doubt, woke up with the lover of his soul, Jesus Christ.
Otilio was a beloved husband to his best friend and wife Mayela of 36 years, a devoted father to his four children: Otilio Jr., Gabriel, Daisy, and Angela....a loving grandfather to 12 beautiful grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
He was the best man, always full of wisdom, joy, and love for his family, church community and friends. He had the best smile; he was a hard worker and a gifted entrepreneur. He was known as a faithful servant of the Lord, a skilled craftsman, and first and foremost, a God-fearing family man. He was not only a builder of beautiful homes, but he also built a lasting legacy of faith, family and servanthood.
He loved going on adventures with his wife by going out to eat, shopping, and going on spontaneous trips. He was always proud of his children and made sure everyone was cared for in his family. He loved to play with his dog Winston when he arrived home every day.
Because this came as a shock to our family, we were not financially prepared for the funeral and the unforeseen expenses that need to get taken care of. Which is why we are asking for help. Any amount - big or small - is deeply appreciated and will go a long way for our family as we are grieving during this time.
Thank you for your love, prayers, and support on behalf of the Posadas family. We truly appreciate each and every one of you. We ask that you continue to cover us in your prayers as we navigate this devastating and unexpected loss as a family. We believe God is faithful and will take care of us as we lay our beloved husband, devoted father, loving grandfather, and beautiful hero to rest.
With love,
Posadas Family
