My name is Brittany Tate. On 7/16/25 my stepfather Jerry Pestana passed away from COPD.

We are raising $3000 for his memorial service for his kids, grandkids, and wife whom he loved with all his heart for almost 15 years.

In March of 2017 he found out he had Stage 4 Lymph Node Lung/Neck Cancer. Due to him going through chemo and radiation he had to give up his passion for truck driving. After a near death experience he developed COPD, that with time made him sicker and weaker, unable to interact with the family.

Jerry was very softhearted especially with all of the children. He was very loving to animals particularly his furry companions, Buckeye and Jazzy. He really knew how to make people laugh and feel at ease. He was Navy Veteran that served for 4 years, following his late father. Jerry is a great loss for all that knew him.

Unfortunately, he left a hefty amount of debt and didn't have life insurance due to having Cancer.

His wife and family will greatly appreciate any and all help for the memorial service he deserves.
