The Erin Walker Memorial Fund

My name is Ben Hodge. I am a colleague of Erin Walker and I am putting this fundraiser together to help give back to Ms. Walker and her family. Erin always cared for others especially in times of need and it is only fitting for us as a Panther community to return that favor. I am asking alumni, faculty, community members and students to donate whatever they can during this tough time to honor Erin Walker's legacy with a fitting Memorial and other necessary needs in this time of great tragedy.  I will be working with CYHS admin to make sure this money gets directly to the Walker family. Thank you for your support and please share with any of your Panther community networks. Much peace to you all. Rest in Power, Erin. You are loved and remembered.  

A few points of clarification:

•At this time, I will serve as the intended recipient of these donations.  The money will be deposited in to my bank account and I will then share a check with the Walker family on behalf of you, the donors.
•My relationship to Erin Walker was that of a colleague and friend at Central York High School for the past 13 years.  
•At this time, the plan for these funds is to connect with Mr. and Mrs. Walker through our HS administration team and share the donations with them for four specific purposes:

1.  Help the family with any financial assistance during this tragedy.
2.  Provide Erin's three year old daughter Charlea with a Trust Fund or access for future financial support.
3.  Establish a scholarship in Erin Walker's name for future CYHS students.
4.  Create a memorial at CYHS that will help honor and celebrate Erin's contributions and memory for future generations.
