It is with the deepest sorrow that we inform you of the untimely death of our beloved brother, Moses Maman Arop Mawien, on 29 June 2020.
Maman settled in South Australia in 2004 along with his brothers and sisters. He was passionate about aviation engineering, and earned a Commercial Pilot License in 2009. Known for his vibrant personality and kind heart, Maman amassed a tremendous social media following, particularly on Facebook.
Maman is survived by his wife, and six children. He was very much loved by his mother, whom he intended on visiting in Khartoum, at his earliest opportunity.
A memorial to celebrate Maman's life will be held in due course, and in the meantime, we welcome your contributions. All funds raised will support the costs of Maman's funeral and bereavement visa application for his mother.
