Memorial Fund for Michael Weekley

Tragically, on Saturday, June 3rd, Mike lost his four- year battle with esophageal cancer. Although the cancer did inevitabally take his life, Mike never allowed it to take his spirit. In the last few years, I had many opportunities to spend time with Mike. No matter how much he was suffering physically, he was always the same old Mike, always sure to crack a joke and break the ice with his quick wit and humor. He always remained positive and lived out his life with dignity and grace. 

One of Mikes greatest assetts was his ability to make others laugh, and making people laugh was exactly what he loved to do most. Mike was the kind of guy that never met a stranger. No matter who he met, he made them feel like they were his best friend. He was sure to care for others rather than putting his needs first. Even after death Mike continued this by deciding to donate his body to science in hope that something can be learned medically which may help someone else in the future.

Unfortunately. Mike did not have life insurance, which has left his loved ones bearing the cost of funeral expenses. LET US ALL NOW BE THE ONES THAT ARE THERE FOR MIKE! A life as wonderful as his deseves an equally wonderful celebration of his legacy. Any donations or contributions would be greatly appreciated by his family. These donations and contributions will directly assist Mike's family with his funeral costs. Let's show them how much we all loved Mike and rally to help them in any way we can during their time of grief. Thank you all for your continued love and support during such a sad time.
