Michael Frederick Forehand, 65, passed away on December 1, 2016 at home in Murfreesboro. Mike grew up in Savannah GA and Westport CT. He served in the Coast Guard Reserve then worked in the Maritime industry both in Italy and the United States.
Mike and his family have lived in Tennessee for 30 years. He relocated with Service Merchandising from Florida in 1986, where he was employed for 19 years. Mike also worked for the State of Tennessee as a manager for Facility Services until his retirement.
Mike was loved by all. He lived life to the fullest and always had a smile on his face. Mike was kind, witty and compassionate. He was a wonderful husband, brother, father, uncle and grandfather.
Mike is survived by his wife Mary Frances, his sons Michael Forehand, wife Jennifer(Murfreesboro TN), Hunter Forehand(Nashua NH), Jeff Maynard, wife Jenny(Murfreesboro TN), daughters Elizabeth Alexander, husband Will(Orlando FL), Christie Maynard(Dublin IR), brothers Jack Forehand, wife Sandy(Wallace NC), Robert Forehand(St. Simons, GA), William Forehand, wife Mandee(Orlando FL), Raymond Forehand, wife Ann Marie(Southport CT), his sister Mary Driver, husband Kline(Buford GA), 8 grandchildren and 10 nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Donations will used to set up a college fund for Mike's youngest son, Hunter, who is a freshman at the University of Vermont.
