On June 25, 2025, Melanie Kate Leaseburg left this world to be onto the next phase of her journey into the infinite.

My mother was larger than life and truly a one of a kind human being. For those who know her, they know the only thing larger than her loud mouth was her personality, individuality, and her intrepid spirit.

Her passing was extremely sudden and unexpected. She leaves this universe to join those who have passed before her. I know she’s going to tell her best friend Belinda all the stories that she hasn’t been able to since Belinda passed, she’s going to tell Pap Pap Judge all the accomplishments and the legacy of her girls, and she’s running around with all of her beloved animals that crossed the rainbow bridge waiting for her to come love on them and feed them all the treats (especially her little cocker-spaniel/beagle mix, Bandit ).

Ana and I are loved and supported by each other, and our mom’s forever-partner, Damien.

Any funds submitted to this GoFundMe will be used to support her memorial and celebration of life, her final expenses, any related legal and technical expenses, and her girls and Damien as we grieve the loss of one of the best souls this world has ever seen.
