Catherine had a special place in her heart for Cathology and a retirement facility in Aberdeen, Hong Kong named Little Sisters of the Poor at St. Mary Home for the Aged (https://littlesistersofthepoor.org/). So rather than flowers and sympathy gifts, a donation through GoFundme has been set up. 100% of the proceeds are going to be donated to the facility in her name.
(Updated May 24th, 2023: Due to the complication in the overseas donation process, Little Sisters of the Poor at St. Mary Home for the Aged in Hong Kong decided not to go forward with the donation process and suggested I redirect the donation to Little Sister of the Poor - San Francisco chapter. And this is what I am going to do. I will donate all the proceed to Little Sister of the Poor - San Francisco. I wish you guys will understand. And I have personally donated the same amount to Little Sisters of the Poor at St. Mary Home for the Aged in Hong Kong earlier when I was in Hong Kong managing my Mother's affairs. I am sure that is what my mother would do. God bless everyone and thank you again for your donations.)
