“We come into this world alone, and we leave the same way, the time we spend in between ... time spent alive, sharing, learning ... together ... is all that makes life worth living.”
― Jean Grey Uncanny X-Men Volume 1 Issue 303
We devastatingly lost Krystina Sanchez, 34 (She swore she was 21 till the end), this past weekend. As some may know Krystina was diagnosed with Dermatomyositis in 2004. This rare autoimmune disease had some harsh side effects on Krystina. More recently, causing Krystina to be diagnosed with Interstitial Lung disease. After a hard battle with the interstitial lung disease for the last two months, the disease eventually prevailed. Krystina fought until the very end and will forever be remembered as one of the strongest warriors we all knew and loved. Her suffering has come to an end and she is now able to rest in heaven.
Krystina is survived by her daughter Alexis (16), her parents, Gilbert and Gloria, and her two brothers, Gilbert and Gabriel.
We are all absolutely crushed by the tragic loss of Krystina. Please consider donating to help with the funeral expenses as well as to assist her daughter Alexis (16) with any future costs that may arise.
Krystina was such a bright light in our lives. Always smiling and joking around. Willing to put a smile on a stranger’s face no matter what pain she may have been going through. Please keep her and her family and friends in your prayers during this time.
