We are deeply saddened because of the sudden unexpected passing of our father Keith Kim 김광일. He passed away of a heart attack at midnight on Saturday, June 1st, 2019 at the age of 60. He is survived by his father 김영균, his 3 children Lena, Martin, and Joshua, and by 6 grandchildren (Caitlyn, Joshua, Dominic, Gia, Jacob, and David Jr.), and his son-in-law David and daughter-in-law Cindy. He meant the world to his children and grandchildren, and he shared his love of nature, good food, and good times with them. The family recently celebrated dad’s 60th and grandfather’s 81st birthday. 

The memorial fund will directly be used to cover the final expenses incurred by his family. As of now we are finalizing arrangements and the date of his memorial service will be announced once it is confirmed. The remainder of the fund will be used to settle dad’s accounts, and to relocate and support his youngest son Joshua, who lived with his father and was home with dad and accompanied him to the hospital. The fund will be managed by his older siblings and will be used to find him a permanent residence.

The family is overwhelmed by all of the love, support, prayers, and thoughts from all who knew him or know the ones he loved. Any donation made towards the memorial fund would be greatly appreciated, and the family hopes that everyone would be able to join us at his memorial service.
