Memorial Fund for Keith Flight

Donation protected
Very sadly, Keith Flight died suddenly in the early hours of Saturday 15th January, following a heart attack. My name is Lucy and I’m a close friend of the Flight family.

Keith loved quizzing, walking Lexie the Irish Red Setter on the beaches of Suffolk, watching birds, and enjoying a pint of Real Ale. One of his favourite places was the East Anglia Transport Museum, which the family visited together every season for nearly 30 years, waiting patiently for the restoration of Tram 9 to be completed.

At this sad time, Keith’s family has asked me to set up a memorial fund in his name. I will share further details soon, when the family has had some space to decide how they would like to use this fund. Some of the ideas they are currently thinking about are supporting the British Heart Foundation, the RSPB, the RNLI, or making a gift to the East Anglia Transport Museum in Keith’s memory.

In the meantime, if you knew and loved Keith, and would like to do something to show your support, you are invited to make a donation. If you would prefer to wait until the family has decided how they would like to use the fund, you are welcome to do so.

With thanks,

Lucy and the Flight Family
