This is a memorial fund for Karen. In lieu of sending flowers, the family is asking for donations to help cover her final expenses. Karen was a beautiful soul who left behind a loving family. She left this world peacefully on the morning of July 21, 2021 with family by her side.
Karen loved and enjoyed every moment of life. She grew up in the church and brought her children up in church as well. Karen loved the Lord more than everything else. She also loved people. Friends describe her as easy to talk to and having a sweet nature. Karen laughed often. She loved spending time with friends and family.
Karen spent much time gardening and helping others with their garden. One of her friends recalled a time that she helped move and replant Cannas while she was visiting them in Texas. Karen and her husband loved to travel to see family and friends. One thing was true indeed, Karen was always there for family and friends. If anyone needed anything, she was there to help.
Another friend described her as oozing love; To know her is to love her. That was her gift. She gave off love. What greater legacy to leave this world than love of the purest kind. The Bible says that at the end there will be faith, hope, and love; of these love is the greatest. That describes Karen for all that knew her. She was, in essence, love.
Karen leaves behind her loving husband, Kerry, three adult children, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
