Juwan Rashaad Wade tragically lost his young life on July 7, 2020. He was a victim of a violent crime when shooters senselessly opened fire killing him on the streets of Washington, DC. Juwan was a loving and committed father who was actively enrolled in school pursuing a barbering license. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Charon; older brother, Glenn and his pride and joy, his three year old daughter Jordyn.

This tragedy has caused tremendous hurt and indescribable pain as we look to put the pieces to our lives back together and seek justice for Juwan.

We are pressing forward and working with the local authorities to investigate this heinous crime but we need support to ensure his daughter has what she needs as she heals during this process.

Many details surrounding this incident are unclear, but we are asking the community for support during this difficult time. 100% of funds collected here will go to Juwan’s family.

This fund is established to cover funeral and burial expenses, support for his 3 year old daughter, mental and grief counseling and to assist Juwan’s family in the days to come as they continue to seek justice for Juwan.

We were of course not prepared for a tragic death of our beloved Juwan and are heartbroken to even have to ask for support, but we appreciate any help that you can offer us in our darkest time of need.
