Memorial & Support Fund for Julie Chitty's Beloved Kendra
With a heavy heart we ask for your help. Our beloved friend and colleague Julie Chitty passed suddenly on Wednesday, September 5th. Many friends and colleagues have asked how they can uphold Julie’s memory and support her loved ones both in the short and long-term. As you can imagine, the impact of this loss is immense and it will be a long journey. The last thing they want are financial concerns. Memorial costs are only the beginning.
Julie never met a stranger. She gravitated to people she met and with her radiant smile warmed the hearts of those she touched. She and her partner Kendra Phillips created a loving life all over the world and most recently in Silver Spring, Maryland, with their furry four-legged children. Their home was representative of their years together and open to all. Julie’s love for life was all encompassing and she would help anyone who needed it. Consider helping at this time.
I give you this one thought to keep.
I am with you still. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on the snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone.
I am with you still in each new dawn.
