McSweeney family fund in memory of Julia McSweeney

Our beloved sister, mother and friend Julia McSweeney passed away from a terminal cancer on August 15, 2023 in Gallup, NM and is survived by her two sons, Isaiah and Emmanuel, in addition to her sister Lisa and brothers Bryan and Daniel.

This fundraiser is directly for her young sons so that they may be able cover any costs related to her death and expenses related to their own current and future needs i.e. groceries, rent, bills, vehicles and animals. In honor of her desire to care for Manny and Isaiah we humbly ask for any support any loved ones may offer at this time, especially fiscally as the family grieves and face many difficult decisions in the coming weeks and months. Julia will be remembered as a loving and fierce mother whose love for animals was passed to her sons. Those who knew her will carry the memories of her love for adventures, the outdoors, painting, playing the guitar and piano. She was an active member of the Gallup community through her work as a case manager for the developmentally disabled in the area.

Julia’s unconditional care and investment into everything she loved set a foundation for her family to move forward but it is only with loved ones assistance that that care can continue to come to fruition.
